Dr. Peggy (Poku) Amoakohene
About our founder
Dr. Amoakohene is a Board certified internist and endocrinologist and founder of Premier Endocrine and Wellness Clinic. With over 10 years of experience in the United States and Ghana, she is an expert in endocrinology care, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hormone-related diseases and conditions such a diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalances, obesity, bone health, etc.
Her extensive experience in endocrinology enables her to approach patient care with comprehensive, tailored, and evidence based perspective, ensuring all patients receive optimal care and regain their overall wellness.
Voted Northern Virginia Top Doctor 3 years in a row, Dr. Amoakohene is committed to providing exceptional care for her patients, and is ready to serve patients in the Maryland, Virginia, DC, and Minnesota.
